A collaboration between the inhabitants of the village of Guissény, participants of the project “À domicile” and Antonia Baehr, performed in the village’s church, Guissény, Brittany, France August 28, 2021,
From sound recordings of their Guissénian environment collected during “À domicile“, the participants wrote original compositions for voice in choir, echoing the daily world that surrounds and affects them. The choir amplifies this presumably banal daily life like an acoustic horn. In different movements, it weaves together portraits of relationships: a sheep and its janitor; a dog, a telephone and a neighbor; the church bells and the life beside them; la mer et ta mère (the sea and your mother) …

Eine Zusammenarbeit zwischen den Bewohnern des Dorfes Guissény, den Teilnehmern des Projekts „À domicile“ und Antonia Baehr, die am 28. August 2021 in der Kirche des Dorfes Guissény, Bretagne, Frankreich, aufgeführt wird,
Ausgehend von Tonaufnahmen ihrer Umgebung in Guissény, die sie während des Projekts „À domicile“ gesammelt haben, schrieben die Teilnehmer Originalkompositionen für Chorgesang, die die alltägliche Welt, die sie umgibt und beeinflusst, widerspiegeln. Der Chor verstärkt dieses vermeintlich banale Alltagsleben wie ein akustisches Horn. In verschiedenen Sätzen verwebt er Porträts von Beziehungen: ein Schaf und sein Hausmeister; ein Hund, ein Telefon und ein Nachbar; die Kirchenglocken und das Leben daneben; la mer et ta mère (das Meer und die Mutter) …
