Le chant du psychophone is a one-on-one encounter between visitor and performer, spatially separated and intimate at the same time. It is an invitation to make contact acoustically, sensorially, and visually with the infinitely near and the infinitely distant. With this work, Antonia Baehr continues her choreographic and performative research into face and faciality.

Le chant du psychophone ist eine Begegnung zwischen Besucherin und Performerin, Eins-zu-Eins, Tête-à-Tête, räumlich getrennt und intim, humorvoll und überraschend. Die Performance lädt akustisch, haptisch und visuell dazu ein, den Kontakt mit dem unendlich Nahen und Fernen aufzunehmen. Mit dieser Arbeit setzt Antonia Baehr ihre choreografischen und performativen Forschungen zu Gesicht und Gesichtshaftigkeit fort.

Le chant du psychophone est une rencontre individuelle entre le visiteur/euse et performeur/euse, un tête-à-tête de sept minutes, à la fois séparé/e/s dans l’espace et dans une grande proximité. Travail sur la perception, c’est une invitation à prendre contact acoustiquement, sensoriellement et visuellement avec l’infiniment proche et l’infiniment lointain. Avec cette oeuvre, Antonia Baehr poursuit sa recherche chorégraphique et performative sur le visage et la facialité, entre apparences et profondeurs de nos états d’âme.
