DIE HÖRPOSAUNE (PREMIERE DECEMBER 2020)

DIE HÖRPOSAUNE comes from a dream the performer Antonia Baehr had. Baehr followed the dream, which will now culminate in a theatrical duet with the artist Jule Flierl. Using temporal drag, techniques from musical composition and experimental film editing, a duo performance is created that questions the absolute claim to truth of rational thought. In this artistic replica of a science fiction lecture, both artists let the most contradictory realities and truths coexist on stage. Without relying on the endowment of meaning that language usually gives, they create a polyphonic coherence through ‚voice-dances‘. Their intended space for this purpose will be a mixture of doll’s house and chemistry laboratory in which the proportions are no longer correct. They will produce scores from different notation methods and the interpretation of ’sound-dances‘. They will work on the dissociation between sound and image, voice and movement; talking with the voices of others, becoming possessed in order to be multiple.

DIE HÖRPOSAUNE begann mit einem Traum der Performerin Antonia Baehr. Diesem folgend arbeitet sie nun mit Jule Flierl an einem Theaterduett, welches den Absolutheitsanspruch rationalen Denkens mit Verfahren des Temporal Drag, musikalischer Kompositionstechniken, Stimmtänzen und experimentellen Filmschnitts in Frage stellt. In ihrer künstlerischen Replik eines fantastischen Science-Fiction-Vortrags lassen sie auf der Bühne unterschiedlichste Wirklichkeiten und Wahrheiten nebeneinander existieren, die nicht länger auf die Sinnstiftung durch Sprache, sondern auf die polyphone Stimmigkeit von sog. Stimmtänzen setzt. Sie gestalten dafür einen Raum, der in einer Mischung aus Puppenstube und Chemielabor ein Modell darstellt, in welchem angestammte Größenverhältnisse nicht mehr stimmen. Darin werden die Künstler*innen zweier Generationen entlang ihrer Arbeitsweisen gemeinsam ein neuartiges Duett entwickeln, das als Ausgangspunkt auf zwei Audioaufnahmen von Stimmen und Sprachen anderer setzt. Sie stellen Partituren her, die durch interdisziplinäre Notation entstehen und durch Interpretation zum ‚Ton-Tanzen‘ gebracht werden. Sie arbeiten an der fehlenden Übereinstimmung von Ton und Bild, von Stimme und Bewegung. Mit den Stimmen anderer zu reden, „bessessen zu sein“, um Viele zu sein.
